'A short break at February half-term was very enjoyable! The cottage was perfect and is undersold on the web-page - more pictures are needed. The location is perfect - next to churchyard and only 2 minutes to beach. The dog was exhausted by running on the deserted beaches all day - for every mile we walked he ran 5! Beadnell was very quiet - almost a ghost village in late February but this was what was required by us!
Accommodation is excellent, two good sized bedrooms (mind your head!) and bathroom. '

'Although our car broke down and had to be in the garage all week, we found the bus service excellent. Also as we had a dog we found plenty of good walks and she was welcomed on the buses and the boat to the Farne Islands. The pubs were also dog friendly and to top it all we had good weather!'

'We had a wonderful, relaxing and tranquil holiday. The cottage surroundings were ideal, just yards from the local bistro, hotel/restaurant and a hotel/pub, both which served great food. An idyllic village which was like a haven and just a 5 minute walk to the beach which is brilliant for dog owners as it was all 100% dog friendly. The pubs even accepted dogs and the beaches were wonderful (great for winkle picking). The cottage itself was self contained, really cosy and very clean and everything was first class. Absolutely everything you needed was catered for, ie kitchen utensils, books, DVD's, videos, dominoes, cards, games - we were so impressed and are hoping to go back next year!'

'We had an excellent holiday in Northumberland. The cottage far exceeded our expectations and we found it comfortable, warm and clean. The village was very pretty, the pub had excellent food and the locals were friendly and helpful. There are very nice beaches within walking distance and there is an abundance of things to do within a 20 minute drive of Beadnell - castles, beaches, walking, the Northumberland National Park, Alnwick (lovely town), Newcastle isn't very far, Hadrians wall... the list goes on and on. It was one of our best holidays and we would definitely go back!'
