'On arrival at our boat yard we were warmly greeted, given loads of information, shown around the boat etc and told to ask for help pr advice at any time during our holiday. We had a wonderful week, 5 adults two children (one with special needs) and a baby - we chose an 11 berth cruiser for the extra space due to family dynamics. The boat was great and it was such fun taking turns at being "captain", we all fished constantly, watched the wildlife (lots of ducks for the little ones), visited a couple of lovely riverside pubs (one right next to our boatyard), and we were so busy we didn't get chance to visit any of the many attractions around the Broads. We're going back next year to amend this!'

Maybe if fewer boats were on the rivers then mooring up in some of the more popular spots would have been easier-or maybe it was just our lack of experience that made this a little stressful at times! 'In 2009 we found the guys at Horizon, Acle Bridge were just as genuinely friendly and helpful as we found them in 2005 and earlier years. The Norfolk Broads is a brilliant place for a relaxing holiday in an area that is so unique to the U.K.
We're both retired now - I'm 70 plus and my wife is over 65 but the boats are so very easy to handle and comfortable that makes a great holiday break for us --- we certainly hope to revisit our favourite haunts again.'

'The most repeated statement I hear when I discuss my Broads holiday with someone is,"I have always fancied going but never tried it",and then follow with some sort of criticism of a holiday they know nothing about. My advice to these landlubbers is try it and see for themselves. They will find peace, tranquility, rest and a world of exploration ,whether it be socialising or Mother Nature. We are now in our 36th year of holidaying on the Broads and have already booked our 37th with Hoseasons.'

A few days on the Broads will recharge the batteries and take you back to the calming influence of nature at its best. 'People have a misconception of boating on the broads, they think that you have to continually jump on and off to work the locks, after you have explained that there are no locks they become more interested, i consider boating on the broads to be an excellent way of winding down after the hustle & bustle & stresses of work life. 'I would not hesitate in recommending a Broads boating holiday to all. The whole family really enjoyed the whole week. Our boat was immaculate, as was the service provided at the boat yard. The pubs and shops we visited were reasonably priced for the most part and the fishing was excellent! Many thanks to all who made this, our 4th Broads holiday a brilliant success - from the easy booking system through Hoseasons to the gereral welcome show by all 'Norfolk folk'! '

'The staff at Acle were very friendly and very helpful - they made us feel at ease and ensured that we were familiar with the safety instructions . We had a couple of minor problems with a shower tap and the fridge but the staff fixed these immediately and efficently. I cannot praise the staff at your Acle site enough because their help ensured that my family had an enjoyable holiday. '
