'Just good value! A different experience and great fun!'
Mr D , RIPON on 09/06/2009
'Excellent experience, will be looking to book another narrow boat holiday. '
Mrs M , Inverness , Highland, on 04/08/2008
'An amazing experience, I had not been cruising for some 20 years and it reminded me of just how unique and enjoyable it is to truly get away from it all whilst staying active. Close ups of wildlife, wonderful scenery and history and plenty of good pub meals. Lot's of fun for everyone and some really good photographic memorie - very pleased! '
Mr T , Lymm , Cheshire, on 26/05/2008
'A great and unique way of exploring the British town and country.'
Mr W , Wirral , Merseyside, on 03/08/2007
'Very relaxing!'
Mrs E , Bury St Edmonds , Suffolk, on 23/06/2007
'It was absolutely wonderful to feel that you have got away from everything, even though the real world is near at hand. For four days we puttered along the Macclesfield Canal, taking walks along the well managed tow path or sat and watched the countryside glide by.'
Mrs T , BURY ST. EDMUNDS , Suffolk, on 14/11/2009
'You just have to take it easy. As a busy person I haven`t rested so well for years..and no airports ...Hoorah'
Mr T , LANCASTER on 02/09/2009
'The best way to get to life in the slow lane. If winding down is the aim then this is the holiday!'
Mr J , Caerphilly , Wales, on 20/10/2007
'I can definitely recommend a canal boating holiday, but do take your time and dont rush it. Really enjoyable, just allow yourself time to relax and enjoy the places.'
Mr K , Aberdeen , Aberdeenshire, on 12/10/2007
'Great holiday.'
Mrs D , Inverurie , Aberdeenshire, on 11/07/2006
'We thoroughly enjoyed our first trip on a narrow boat and have booked two weeks next year!! The boat was very cosy and comfortable. It was very relaxing, and good to be out in the open air all day. The locks were much easier than I thought they would be and we had lots of help from other boaters. We saw lots of herons and kingfishers.'
Mr S , Nottingham , Nottinghamshire, on 07/12/2009
'We did the Cheshire Ring. We completed it in a week but found it very hard going, Not for the faint hearted but well worth the experience. With a little bit of extra hard work we were able to tour to Buxworth Basin, have a lovely meal at the Navigation pub which we would recommend and experience some of the most beautiful canal scenery on the area.'
Mrs B , Bollington , Cheshire, on 14/09/2009
'This was a very enjoyable holiday, first time we were back on the canals for over 25 years. If you want a holiday that gets you away from it all this is the one for you!'
Mr C , RETFORD on 28/06/2009
'I would recommend this holiday to all age groups as it was relaxing, healthy and lots of fun.'
Mr E , on 06/07/2009
'A very good boatyard and there even was a free and public wireless internet connection available for our notebook. And there are nice boats.'
Mr D , Druten on 22/06/2009
'The boating holiday was fantastic id defo recommend it to anyone. '
Miss G , Wallasey , Merseyside, on 04/10/2008
'This is a great way to get the family working together and is a lot of fun.'
Mr H , San Pedro Garza Garcia , Nuevo Leon, on 29/07/2009
'We spent a week on a narrowboat and did the Cheshire Ring. It was our first time and we all feel that it was our best family holiday to date!'
Miss T , MILNTHORPE , Cumbria, on 07/07/2009
'We (a family of 5) have just completed the Cheshire Ring in one week. I wouldn't recommend it for the novice boater as some days we were cruising for 12 hours doing 27 locks in one particular day through Manchester. Having said that we thoroughly enjoyed our week and have come back feeling very happy with our achievement.'
Mrs S , LICHFIELD on 21/06/2009
'A lovely, laid back holiday to enjoy with family or friends. A great way to get a different perspective on the countryside. '
Mr E , Audlem , Cheshire, on 08/06/2009
'As an activity holiday with stops at a different pub every night for good food and beer, this can't be beaten.'
Mr O , Portsmouth , Hampshire, on 10/06/2009
'Boating the Cheshire Ring is marvellous and exciting. To finish the trip within a week means an active holiday in splendid surroundings. We all experienced a wonderful week!'
Mr S , The Netherlands, on 07/07/2007
'Good quality boat, excellent service from the boatyard and the booking experience problem free.'
Mr B on 05/06/2009
